ICEBREAKER XV - 27th Jan & 3th Feb 2008

Again, the 2008 Icebreaker was so big it was split into two separate events. The first was for under 1500cc Banger Teams, the second for Unlimited Banger Teams. Both events were filmed by us using a multi-camera mix and both are highly entertaining meetings.

       

PART 1 - 1500cc BANGERS:

 Part 1 of the 2008 Icebreaker Team events was again for the under 1500cc bangers. Another great entry of cars produced some top quality crashing all day, on a fine and dry afternoon. There were some interesting cars including several from the Mr Men team plus a couple of Capri’s. Highlights are many, but perhaps the biggest hits being the back straight wrecking train started by 791 Spud and featured the destruction of Mr Clumsy’s Avenger in fine style! Also 70 Ant Long is on a mission all day and 37 Jay Chilton’s blitz on 798 Pete Annells is a massive hit. This DVD begins with a short intro, before some pit shots and all the days races are shown through a 2-camera edit. After the DD is a long action replay including more shots from the infield. Please note due to technical problems on the day, some races do not feature any commentary.

:The 15th big league Unlimited Banger Icebreaker, and what a show we were treated to! With a record breaking entry of unlimited’s for Kings Lynn of around 150 cars the action was second to none all day. With the action coming thick and fast in all of the 12 full contact races. Team Stinkbridge are on a mission all day, earning themselves the best entertaining team award, and with their big hits its no surprise. Others include the complete heat 4 wrecking train, captured in all its glory from 3 different angles, 33! Simon Reed in top form during his heat, 280 Slick and 152 Tiger Tone’s rollovers, 361 Wally having a very entertaining unlimited banger debut, 09 Psycho doing what he does best and many, many more. With cool material, masses of action, and big wrecks this DVD has it all. Beginning as usual with an introduction sequence, before lots of pit shots. All races are a multi-camera mix and include commentary and results. After the DD is some in-car footage before a simply huge action replay with all the day’s highlights edited together
