Your wedding is a very special day, and with all the rushing around you will be doing to make sure everything is perfect, it will soon be over and the best way to remember your day is with a professionally done video. Impact Videos can produce personal wedding DVDs that are filmed and edited on digital quality equipment. We have been filming weddings around the Kings Lynn area since 2003, and all customers have been very pleased with the results. Due to the limitations of a website, we offer demonstration discs of our work as this is the best way for you to see how we film and edit our wedding DVDs.
All DVDs of your special day will now be filmed in 16:9 Widescreen and are edited to be both traditional and personal to you as a couple. This includes putting your choice of music added, any special photographs needed to be included as an intro sequence, and special messages at the end. I have completed a full 2-year BTEC National Diploma course in Media Production at college, where I learnt how to film and edit all kinds of video productions. I have been taught to film weddings by an experienced tutor and wedding videos can be discussed with the customer so that they know exactly what will be filmed and how it's all edited together.
We have filmed both traditional Church weddings, and also Civil Weddings at hotels and Demonstration DVDs of each can be viewed. All weddings are filmed with professional grade video cameras (Canon or Sony), we use external microphones for the actual service and speeches to give better sound quality. Despite filming in widescreen, our DVDs can still be watched on a standard 4:3 television without looking 'squashed', as its displayed with black bars at the top and bottom of the screen.
HIGH DEFINITION BLU-RAY PRODUCTION
We can now also offer to produce your wedding on full HD Blu-Ray disc for the best possible quality. With the continued rise in popularity of HD TV's, Blu-ray disc players and Playstation 3's, Impact Videos can film your wedding in full high definition and present it on Blu-ray disc in full HD 1080 quality. An extra £60 is required to do this, as there is more time and expence needed to produce the blu-rays. We will also include 3 copies of the production on standard DVD aswell. We try our best to be more in the background when filming on the day, as this creates a more natural look. Many people are shy about being filmed, especially by a stranger, so we try to be as non-intrusive as we can. In our experience this makes for a more natural looking final product. At the editing stage, we again use our experience to make the DVD as seamless to watch as possible. By using our skills as editors, we cut and tweak shots to flow smoothly, and cut any un-wanted clips. This is a time-consuming process, but using our computer based editors gives us precise control over each shot. Almost all of our DVDs begin at the church (or wedding venue if its a civil service) where we arrive early to get quiet shots before everyone arrives. The actual service is filmed in full (providing permission is granted by the vicar) and we also include shots outside, following the official photographer. Because we are using moving video rather than still photography, this gives us the opportunity to catch other general shots alongside the posed shots the photographer sets up. Then its onto the reception venue where everything is filmed up until the first dance. The DVD will end with a highlights montage with the special shots replayed and edited to your choice of music. This is where we include any special thanks messages too.

Some wedding video companies offer many different packages for you to choose from, with many of the extras not being included in the price.
